Rate: $50-$60/hour w-2
Our client, a leader in their industry, has an excellent opportunity for a Jr. Integration Engineer to work in a 6-month contract-to-hire position in Atlanta, GA (Dunwoody). This position is a hybrid role working onsite 2–3 days per week.
This is a contract to hire opportunity. Applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis and convert FTE following contract duration. Responsibilities:• Design, develop, test, and maintain RESTful APIs with internal systems and third-party services
• Build and troubleshoot connections between internal systems and external partners
• Implement data mapping and transformation logic for integration scenarios
• Work closely with product, QA, and external partners to deliver seamless integration solutions
• Monitor integration health, investigate issues, and provide support for integration-related problems
Experience Requirements:• 2-3 years of experience in API development and system integration
• Proficiency in Java development with Spring Boot Microservices experience
• Experience with REST API design, development, and consumption
• Exposure to API management platforms such as Apigee, MuleSoft, or AWS API Gateway
• Basic SQL skills and experience with relational databases
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Preferred Skills:
• Cloud experience AWS (EKS, EC2, ElastiCache)
• Familiarity with authentication protocols (OAuth 2.0, JWT, API keys)
• Exposure to Salesforce, Kafka, RabbitMQ, or SQS
• Basic DevOps knowledge (Docker, CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience with Postman, Swagger, and Git
Education Requirements:Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
